We provide self-catering accommodation for pilgrims or those who wish to have a retreat or quiet time away.

St Margaret's cottage

St. Margaret’s Cottage is situated in the grounds of the Priory of Our Lady in the village of Walsingham, and is adjacent to the Anglican Shrine grounds.

The cottage has three twin-bedded rooms, with kitchen, lounge, dining area and bathrooms.

The Julian Room

The Julian room is a single room which is self-contained with its own facilities and separate entrance. The small kitchenette includes fridge, microwave, electric steam cooker, toaster, and kettle. It is all on the ground floor with shower room so suitable for those who find stairs difficult.

This room, named in memory of Sister Julian, is a favourite for those wishing to make a private retreat. It has a connecting door to the main cottage and can be booked separately or as part of the main cottage.

The Priory

We also have 7 rooms plus a kitchenette and sitting room in the Priory where  Priests, Ordinands, Religious or Associates can stay for a time of quiet or retreat. A simple silent breakfast is available for those who wish to join the Sisters. The small kitchenette includes fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and electric steam cooker. The guest area has two bathrooms plus another toilet.

Prices for 2024

1 - 3 adults £45 per adult per night

4 adults in the cottage £160 per night

5 adults in the cottage £180 per night

6 adults in the cottage £200 per night

Julian room £45 per night

Priory £45 per person per night

£27 children 5-16yrs per night

under 5's free

 

We require a non-refundable deposit of 20% within two weeks of booking and the balance on your arrival.
