Advent 4 and Christmas Day brought lots of wonderful blessings. Sr Carol weekly leads Shrine Prayers (live streamed) but had the privilege of leading them on Christmas day. Crafts, Christmas services and lots of opportunity to explore the natural wonder of Gods creation.

A beautiful watercolour painted by Sr Carol. Often these artworks are turned into cards and sold to raise funds for the Sisters charity of the year.

This week saw the Anniversary of Sr Angela SSM on the Feast of St Nicholas. Sr Carol enjoyed time walking and exploring painting on her rest day.
Kilbe Blume Seascapes day 7 tutorial, enjoyed how the salt effect worked on the wildflower meadow.
The Holy Family bathed in sunlight at midday office.
Three wonders mark this day we celebrate: today the star led the Magi to the manger; today water was changed into wine at the marriage feast; today Christ desired to be baptised by John in the river Jordan to bring us salvation.

This week as we chalked blessings on houses to remind us of the Magi and Epiphany and the gifts they brought. Sr Carol explored using salt in her watercolour artwork.

This week saw the confirmation of two church members. The conservatory and chapel were prepared for the coming of Jesus and Sr Carol attended the wonderful nativity production by the local primary school.
Sr Carol runs Sunday school at St Peters. On the 1st Advent the children looked at Hope.
The new lectionaries blessed and ready for use this week.
Each year at the beginning of Advent the Sisters choose a charity to raise money for by selling hand made cards and gifts. This year they have raised a massive £2927 for the King's Lynn Night Shelter .

The new lectionaries that will be used in all services from the 1st December were blessed this week. Sr Carol supports Sunday School at St Peters and the children learnt about hope this week.

As the end of the calendar year came to an end and 2025 arrived there was a lot still happening with the Sisters. A visit to Norwich, Masses and crafts. This week the Priory Chapel bell may have given up ringing but the Masses continue regardless.

As the season at The Shrine slows down the usual rhythms and activities at the Priory continue. Prayer, supporting various chidlren's work across the village, crafts, weekly pop in to name just a few.
A flurry of snow dusted Walsingham and the Priory grounds this week.
More beautiful candles to be sold to raise funds for the Sisters charity of the year.
Pilgrims joining the Sisters in Chapel for The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. All offices are open for Pilgrims to attend.

As winter weather appeared in Walsingham the Sisters carried on with all their daily duties including the daily offices and creating beautiful items to sell with the money being raised for charity.
